Binatog for merienda
Binatog is boiled white corn often topped with grated coconut and seasoned with a bit of salt and granulated sugar. It is a typical Filipino street food sold by ambulatory hawkers carrying metal vats of steaming boiled white corn kernels. I remember in my childhood getting all excited when I hear somebody shouting "binatoooog!" signifying that the binatog vendor is walking down the street (not as excited as hearing "tahoooo!" though).
