Grumpy Cat Café has become a notable spot for Ilonggo cuisine, offering a warm and satisfying dining experience. Their main branch is in General Luna, Iloilo City, with another convenient branch in SM City Iloilo.

During our visit to the SM City location, the overall experience was pleasant. The service was swift, with all our orders arriving promptly and tasting great. While the menu at this branch may be more limited compared to the main location, it still provides a well-curated selection suited for a casual café within a bustling mall. Notably, they offer Ilonggo classics such as KBL (kadios, baboy, langka) and chicken inasal, ensuring a taste of regional authenticity.

The grilled bangus was flavorful among the standout dishes, while the BBQ liempo and inasal na manok proved equally delightful. For a comforting, true Ilonggo classic, the KBL was a fantastic choice, boasting authentic flavors.

The only drawback at this location is the limited seating, which can feel cramped during peak hours. However, the attentive and friendly staff make up for it, ensuring diners feel welcome and well cared for throughout their visit.

Grumpy Cat Café is an excellent spot for a quick bite and a taste of Ilonggo favorites.
