[Review] CafeGasm Iloilo: Good Food, Cozy Ambiance, and Stellar Service

Nestled in a prime spot within Festive Walk, one of Manduriao's bustling malls, CafeGasm effortlessly combines great location and inviting ambiance to create a memorable dining experience. Positioned in a high-foot-traffic area, it’s the kind of place that naturally draws in food lovers and casual diners alike.

On our visit, we kept the order simple yet satisfying: a double patty burger for my friend, bacon and mushroom creamy pasta for myself, and cheese quesadillas for sharing.

The burger was perfectly complemented by rustic skin-on fries, a side that stole the show with its crispy texture and rich flavor. I have to admit that I am not a huge fan of the burger's signature sauce. It was on the sweeter side for my liking and somewhat reminiscent of what Jollibee would slather on their Yum-burgers. Other than that, the rest of the burger was excellent. The creamy pasta was paired with garlic bread that lived up to expectations, comforting, fragrant, and perfectly toasted. The pasta itself was rich and flavorful (maybe too rich if eaten without the garlic bread). I just wish that they served more of that garlic bread. The cheese quesadillas arrived with a delicious chili-con-carne dipping sauce, adding just the right amount of kick to balance the cheesy goodness.

Service at CafeGasm deserves special mention, attentive and friendly staff ensured that every need was promptly met, enhancing the overall dining atmosphere.

Stepping inside, the restaurant’s interior strikes a perfect balance of warmth and intimacy. Soft, warm lighting creates an inviting environment, ideal for a quiet meal with someone special or a relaxed catch-up with friends. The menu is thoughtfully designed with clear descriptions, making it easy to navigate and tempting enough to spark curiosity about future visits.
